In the late 1970s, Richard M. Adams began recording music on various artists who were working with major record labels and production companies. In 1991, Richard M. Adams trademarked the name, "Play YoSong Records", and the company was incorporated in 1992.

After more than thirty years of recording music, and twenty years of operating as an organized business entity, Play YoSong Records continue to work with many artists and musicians throughout the Los Angeles area, and at this time, is releasing an album by CFO and staff producer.

Even after 30 plus years of recording music, and 20 years of organized operation, Play YoSong Records holds fast to its long standing commitment to maintaining the integrity of music, particularly, the R&B genre.
